Why This Exists

Paonia's town government operates a $16M budget funded mostly by grants and loans. The Town Administrator was fired from his last job for โ€œflagrant neglect of duty.โ€ An elected trustee was expelled for asking questions. Tree Board volunteers were told they're a burden. The surveillance cameras cost more than the tree budget ($52K vs $0).

We think residents can predict their government's behavior better than the government can explain it.
Prove us right.
